COVID-19 Protocols

Keyano Two will be following the cleaning and disinfecting guidelines set out by the BCCDC and Transport Canada to ensure the safety and well-being of all our passengers.

We are:

  • Wiping down and disinfecting the interior of the buses daily.

  • Requiring drivers to wash/disinfect their hands regularly and wear masks during their runs

  • Requiring Grade 6-12 students to wear non-medical masks or face coverings..

  • Hand sanitizing all riders as they board the buses before and after school.

  • Strictly enforcing assigned seating that prioritizes students sharing a seat with a member of their household or cohort.  In addition, the order in which students get on and off the buses will be considered to limit the contact with fellow riders.  The seating arrangement can be altered whenever necessary to support student health and safety (e.g. accommodating children with a physical disability, responding to behavioural issues, etc.).

  • Maintaining up-to-date passenger lists to share with public health should contact tracing need to occur.

Welcome To Keyano 2 Peninsula Bus Service

Building on the success of the bus service to the Westshore, a second society was created to plan and operate a bus service to areas north of the school. If you would like to use our service please click the link below to register.

Fees & Passes

Here you can find out any and all information regarding our fees and options for passes.

Conduct

We want the bus ride to and from school to be a fun and safe experience. Therefore, we want to discourage behaviour that distracts the driver and breaks down community.

“Keyano” is the Cree word for “yours, mine and ours.”

We think that sounds a lot like community. And that’s what we are and hope to be for many years to come.

Organized and operated by the Keyano Transportation Society, this bus is our answer to:

1
the growing concerns of PCS parents who live far from PCS and, therefore, feel both time and financial burdens.
2
the growing concerns of PCS parents who live far from PCS and, therefore, feel both time and financial burdens.
3
the mandate to be more environmentally sensitive.
